Honey and Cast Iron Stove Diet,

It is with regret that I tell you I have no favorite recipes for your book. My wife and I use about 15 to 25 gallons of honey per year, putting honey in our coffee in place of sugar. We smoke, much of our food and baste roast beef, pork ribs, chicken and turkeys with honey. It changes a salt free diet from a drab and lifeless menu into memorable meals.
I can offer you a diet plan, which really works and is called the “Honey and Cast Iron Stove Diet”. Most diet plans don’t taste worth a damn, but honey is incredibly rich in flavor and has less than 21 calories per teaspoon, ideal for losing weight enjoyably.
Now find a cast-iron wood stove. Mine was purchased for less than $100 and is a genuine antique made in downtown Taiwan, Missouri. It says Taiwan on the back, and I found it in Missouri, but you may not be so lucky. Take what you can get. Now find a wood supplier who can deliver wood in 4′ lengths. Start with a full cord of wood. You are going to use a one-man Buck saw to cut it into 16 inch lengths. A manual splitting maul with two wedges completes your outfit. Cut and split. Should the neighbors complain, show the letter from your doctor, which specifies 30 minutes of aerobic exercises per day. Splitting wood was aerobic before Reeboks and stylist jogging suits. On the first cold winter day you may discover what Grandpa knew,… a cast-iron stove heats both the body and soul.
Keep using honey in your coffee and baste your meats with honey while on the barbque that uses chips left over from the hickory wood you split for the cast iron stove.
Usual results:
A chainsaw for Christmas…
